Below is a list of PVG Scheme Legal Requirements our clients should follow.
There are scenarios in which you must inform Verifile of any changes to the candidate’s personal details or their job role. These are:
- They no longer work for you
- Misconduct led to their removal from the role.
- Their contact details have changed (address, name, email address, gender, contact number)
- They've stopped working with a protected group
- They're barred from regulated work
- Their criminal status has changed
- They're under consideration for listing by Scottish Ministers
If any of the above is true, this information should be provided to Verifile immediately.
Verifile will then pass this information to Disclosure Scotland.
You must notify Verifile of these updates within one month to ensure no criminal offence is committed.
