How do I submit a DBS check for Nursery Workers?

To submit a DBS check for Nursery Workers, you must first have the relevant job role set up on your account.


To check this is done, please log in to the Verifile client portal and navigate to the DBS Job Roles tab:

Here you can check any DBS job roles that are currently set up on your account.

Please use the filters as required and change the How Old? field to All before selecting the Load Job Roles button in order to view the complete list of job roles available:

If the required DBS job role is already live on your account, you may then proceed in placing an order using this job title using the following steps:

 

    1. Navigate to the Place Order (Candidate Entry) tab on the Verifile Client Portal:

    2. Provide the required information when prompted:

    3. Once completed, click Next to proceed to Step 2. 


 

    4. Select the required check, e.g., UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) either by scrolling to the correct section, or by using the search function to the left of the page, entitled Search by check name

    5. Once you have selected the required check name, please select the required Job Role from the drop-down menu:

    6. Once completed, click Next to proceed to Step 3

    7. You can then select Finish and Submit to place the order.

If the required DBS job role does not appear on your account, this will need to be assessed and approved by the Client Service Team before we can set it up.

There are many ways to request a new DBS job role:

 

A) Providing the required information via email

  • Please contact the Client Service Team at service@verifile.co.uk to be sent a spreadsheet containing relevant questions for completion.  This information will then be assessed by our DBS specialists.

B) Booking a call with the Client Service Team

  • If you have questions about completing the spreadsheet, or if you wish to discuss your DBS requirements, please book a Microsoft Teams Meeting with our DBS specialists via Select a Date & Time - Calendly.


C)  Requesting a new DBS job role via the Verifile Client Portal

  • Once on the DBS Job Roles tab on the Verifile Client Portal, you can select Request New Job Role and provide the required information regarding the role when prompted. You may be contacted for further information depending on the job role being requested.

 

Once all the necessary details have been provided to the Client Service Team regarding the job role, a final assessment will then be made for your approval and the DBS job role can be added to your account.
