Can I chase Stage 5 of a DBS?

This article will help you understand how long Stage 5 of a DBS check can take and when it can be chased.

DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) list Stage 5 of a DBS check as 'Printing Certificate' but this is not all that is involved.

There are substages to this where quality assurance takes place, and the certificate is only printed once DBS is satisfied that the certificate is correct.

There is no set amount of time for how long this will take.

However, it is not possible to follow up with DBS on this unless it has been in Stage 5 for over 14 calendar days.
