Before proceeding with a Standard or Enhanced level DBS check, we must first assess the eligibility of your job role(s) before adding these to your account for selection.

Before requesting a new DBS job role, please check if there is already a suitable role set up on your account.

Reviewing roles on your account

To review the existing roles on your account, log in to the Verifile client portal and navigate to the DBS Job Roles tab:

DBS Job Roles

Here you can check against any DBS job roles that are currently set up on your account.

Please use the filters as required and change the How Old? field to All before selecting the Load Job Roles button in order to view the complete list of job roles available:

If the required DBS job role is already live on your account, you may then proceed to place an order using this job title.

If the required job role does not appear on your account, there are many ways to request a new DBS job role:

1) Providing the required information via email

  • Please contact the Client Services Team at service@verifile.co.uk to be sent the most up-to-date 'DBS Job Roles Template' for completion, which contains all of the relevant questions that are required in order to carry out our assessment of your job role(s).

When emailing the Client Services Team regarding DBS job roles, please include ' (PJ) ' within the subject line to ensure your request is directed to the appropriate team as quickly as possible.

2) Booking a Microsoft Teams call with the Client Service Team

  • If you have any questions about completing the DBS Job Roles Template, or if you wish to discuss your DBS requirements over a call, please book a Microsoft Teams Meeting with our DBS specialists via the following link:
    Select a Date & Time - Calendly

Once all of the necessary details have been provided to the Client Services Team regarding your job role(s), a final assessment will then be sent across for your approval and can then be added to your account for use.

We aim to carry out our assessments within 1 working day of receiving all of the required information.  Please allow up to 5 working days
